[origin: WO9843742A1] The invention relates to a housing for a horizontal solid jacket helicoidal centrifuge. The housing consists of two shells . The inner shell (3) is easy to assemble. The housing has a lower assembly orifice (2) extending almost entirely along the length of said housing and accommodating a tubular inner shell (3), which is provided with contacts (4, 5) extending radially in relation to the rotational axis (26) of the centrifuge for discharging solids and liquids. The front face of said inner shell can be secured onto the outer housing (1). Helicoidal centrifuges are specially used for separating mixtures of solids and liquids having a high solids content.
