Abstract (en)
Variables relating to the tensile stress in the strip are measured on opposite sides of the strip (5) undergoing rolling. Within a control loop, the difference of the tensile stresses is calculated and compared with a target value. The roll setting of at least one roll stand (1) is corrected when this difference deviates from the target value. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus for performing the above method which includes means for measuring the required variables, and a control system for altering the roll gap on the basis of comparison of the measured and target tensile stress differences.

Um ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Korrigieren des Bandverlaufs beim Walzen von Bändern mit mindestens einem Walzgerüst bereitzustellen, bei dem auf zusätzliche Regulierungseinrichtungen, wie beispielsweise verstellbare Steuerrollen, verzichtet werden kann, soll in einem Regelkreis die Differenz von für die Zugspannungswerte aussagekräftigen Meßgrößen als Istwert ermittelt werden und der Bandlauf bei Abweichung des Istwertes von einem Sollwert durch eine Änderung der Walzenanstellung mindestens eines Walzgerüstes korrigiert werden. <IMAGE>
