Abstract (en)
The unit has a robust structure for holding the paper roll with a hinged cover surrounding space for the paper roll providing supply to the thermal printing head. The portable payment terminal includes a keypad (4,5) with a hinged cover (100) and a thermal printing head printing on a band of rolled paper. The paper passes in front a thermal printing head (TPH) by a drive roller (ROL), and is cut into sections to form receipts. The device includes a fixed chassis (FIX) carrying the print head (TPH), and a movable cover (CO) giving access to a paper compartment. This is hinged about an axis (X2) which is parallel to the axis (X1) of the paper driver roller. The fixed part of the chassis (FIX) includes two lateral plates standing parallel, and perpendicular to the cover hinge axis, and joined by an inwardly curved cylindrical wall. The cover includes two discs which are intended to be seated between the two lateral plates, and a cylindrical envelope section which defines the paper compartment.

La partie fixe du châssis comprend deux joues latérales perpendiculaires à l'axe d'articulation du couvercle (X2), et comprenant chacune sur leur côté interne des moyens d'articulation fixes. Le couvercle (CO) comprend deux disques logés entre les deux joues fixes et comprenant chacun sur leur côté externe des moyens d'articulation mobiles coopérant avec les moyens d'articulation fixes. Un verrou (VE), articulé autour d'un axe (X3) parallèle à l'axe d'articulation du couvercle (X2), coopère avec le couvercle (CO) et la partie fixe du châssis en vue d'assurer un verrouillage/déverrouillage du compartiment papier sur la partie fixe du châssis. <IMAGE>
