Abstract (en)
The connector for crane frame tubes (2) has a spigot on the end of one tube. The spigot is formed by a base (7) attached to the tube and a projection (6) extending from the base. The projection has bores to receive retaining pins passing through it and the base of the second tube which fits over the projection.

Ce dispositif réalise l'assemblage démontable, "bout à bout", de membrures (2) de configuration creuse, appartenant à deux éléments de charpente (1) superposables, tels que des éléments de mât d'une grue à tour. Le dispositif comprend des éclisses (5), dont la partie inférieure en forme du culot (7) est soudée au sommet d'une membrure (2) appartenant à un élément de charpente (1) inférieur, et dont la partie supérieure en forme de tenon (6) est introduite dans la partie inférieure d'une membrure (2) appartenant à un élément de charpente (1) supérieur. Le tenon (6) comporte deux alésages transversaux orthogonaux (10, 11), traversés par des axes de liaison démontables (25, 26). <IMAGE>
