Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0974700A2] The road marking unit is composed of reflecting bars and a base body (2) in one piece with the baseplate (3). The inner ribs (5) are aligned on normals to the reflective bars, where at most one rib is parallel to the bars. The base body (2) is injection molded with two cores between the ribs (5) in opposite directions. They are bonded to the reflective bars by ultrasonic welding. The units are of plastics or metal.
