[origin: EP0974743A1] To obtain accurate lubrication of a reciprocating piston type compressor for supercharging without affecting the operation of an engine oil pump, using engine lubricating oil. A lubricating oilway 89 for the compressor is branched off from a lubricating oilway 87 for an engine E fitted with an oil pump P1. A downstream end of this branched oilway 89 opens into an annular groove 77 connected to an operating chamber 37 of the inner surfaces of a pump cylinder body 20 of the reciprocating piston type compressor C for supercharging. A second oil pump P2 for supplying some of the lubricating oil flowing in the lubricating oilway 87 for the engine to the pump cylinder body 20 side, and having a smaller capacity than the oil pump P1, is fitted into the lubricating oilway 89 for the compressor. <IMAGE>
