[origin: WO9846434A1] A thermal transfer printing dye sheet comprises a substrate having on one surface a dye coat comprising a thermally transferable dye, wherein a copolymer of polycaprolactone and polydimethylsiloxane is provided on at least part of said surface, e.g. by being incorporated in a dye coat. The copolymer can reduce significantly the friction between the surface of the dye sheet and a receiver sheet and so can alleviate printer jamming problems.
