[origin: WO9846689A1] Low-solvent or solvent-free printing-ink or coatings binders comprise (a): from 30 to 98 % by weight of polyesters, as component A, obtainable by reacting (a1) hydroxyl- and/or amino-terminated oligomers, as component A1, (a2) at least one polyanhydride compound having at least two carboxylic anhydride groups, as component A2, with or without (a3) at least one monoanhydride of a polycarboxylic acid, as component A3, (b) from 70 to 2 % by weight of cross-linker for cross-linking the polyesters of component A, as component B, and (c) from 0 to 30 % by weight, based on the sum of the amounts of components A and B, of at least one solvent.
