Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9846720A1] Tablets of detergent composition are compacted to a diametral fracture stress of 8 to 60 KPa using mould parts at least one of which bears an elastomeric layer to contact the composition. This enhances permeability at the tablet surface and hence the speed of water uptake and speed of dissolution/disintegration at the time of use.
