Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0976462A2] The initial material in the form of a strip (2) or sheet is shaped using several rolls (5) which are staggered in the rolling direction (7) and penetrate to different depths into the strip or sheet material over the width of the latter. The rolling installation includes at least one rolling unit (9) with support roll (6) and adjustable pressure rolls staggered in the rolling direction.
