Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine neuartige Ausbildung einer Einrichtung (1) zum Entfernen des Umschnürungselementes (6) einer Umschnürung von einem Güterstapel, insbesondere Flaschenkastenstapel (5), wobei die Lage des Umschnürungselementes durch einen opto-elektronischen Sensor (7) erfaßt wird, und das Umschnürungselement durch einen Roboter (13) zertrennt wird. <IMAGE>
