Abstract (en)
The coupling piece (4) comprises a flat basis body with two tongues (5,7) protruding in the same direction at opposite ends to engage with grooves (8,9) in the bottom of two adjoining panels (1,1') to form a tongue-and-groove joint. At least one centrally located tongue (6) extending in the same direction as the end tongues is engaged with a slot (10) formed between the two panels and running parallel with the grooves. An Independent claim is also included for the floor covering panel.

Die zur Bildung eines Fussbodenbelages zur verbindeneden Paneelen (1,1') weisen parallel zur Verbindungskante resp. parallel zur Feder (3) resp. Nut (2) in der Paneelunterseite Nuten resp. Schlitze (8,9,10) auf, in welche Zungen (5,6,7) eines Verbidungselementes (4) eingreifen. Das Verbindungselement (4) schafft einerseits eine sehr einfach zu installierende, zuverlässige Verriegelung quer zur Verbindungskante der benachbarten Paneelen (1,1') und erlaubt dennoch eine Längsverschiebung der Paneelen (1,1') ohne dass das Verbindungselement (4) verkantet. <IMAGE>
