A sealing strip (5) is provided, located both sides of the piston (2), sealing laterally the longitudinal slit (3) from the inside to the outside in the non-pressure condition of the cylinder inner chamber (9,10), held by an outer strip (6) covering the outside of the longitudinal slit (3). The holding elements (16,17) work together purely frictionally keyed at the sealing strip (5) and the outer strip (6), for the redn. of the forces required for the engaging or disengaging of this holding connection.

Bei einem kolbenstangenlosen Druckmittelzylinder wird das den seitlichen Längsschlitz (3) beidseits des Kolbens (2) von innen her abdichtende Dichtband (5) im drucklosen Zustand des Zylinderinnenraumes (9, 10) von einem den Längsschlitz (3) außen überdeckenden Außenband (6) gehalten. Zur Verringerung der erforderlichen Kräfte zum Ein- bzw. Ausrücken dieser Halteverbindung ist vorgesehen, daß die Halteelemente (16, 17) an Dichtband (5) und Außenband (6) rein reibschlüssig zusammenwirken. <IMAGE>
