[origin: US6358192B1] The clearance or gap between cooperating pairs of folding jaws in a folding jaw system is adjustable by using a roller and a control cam. The control cam has an axial width that is several times greater than the roller track. The control cam is inclined across its axial width and the control cam and roller are shiftable axially with respect to each other.
