[origin: WO9849223A1] The invention relates to a method for producing cellulose flat sheets and cellulose membranes in the form of flat membranes. By this method, a solution of cellulose in an aqueous tertiary amino oxide is extruded by means of an extrusion die having an extrusion gap, the solution taking the shape of a sheet, and is passed via an air gap into a regenerating bath. The method is characterized in that an extrusion die having an extrusion gap at least 40 cm long is used.
