[origin: FR2775323A1] The cage (17) designed to maintain the balls (16) in a ball bearing unit, consisting of a series of balls placed between two rolling paths, is made up of an annular part (18) axially adjacent to the balls and a plurality of cut-outs (22) into which are placed the balls. It has the form of a concave surface, open on the opposite side to the ring, and separated by spacers (19) extending on the side opposite to the ring by a tongue (21). The concave surface consists of a truncated portion (24), which joins up to the spherical portion (23).
