[origin: EP0978244A1] The device has two U-shaped side parts (1,2) with inner threads (8) at the bottom (5) for the insertion of the upper part of feet (6), which are provided with outer threads (8). The height of the device can be adjusted by rotating these feet (6). A slightly sloping foot rest (4), made of a perforated metal sheet, is positioned between the side parts (1,2) and has a horizontal strip (12) attached to the lower end in order to support the foot of the user. Storage facilities for several pairs of shoes, made of slightly sloping bars, are located below the foot rest (4).
