Abstract (en)
The meltable pipe (12') which is made of a thermoplastics material and carries the extinguishing agent from the pressurised supply container (10') is attached to this container so that in the event of fire the extinguishing agent flows out both sides from a burst spot (17') over the site of the fire (16). The meltable pipe is preferably connected to a pressurised container at each end and can be designed as a ring line.

Eine Feuerlöschvorrichtung umfaßt mindestens einen unter Druck stehenden Löschmittelbehälter (10', 10") und eine schmelzbare Löschmittelleitung (12') aus einem thermoplastischen Material. Letztere ist in einem Schutzbereich (S) verlegt und an den mindestens einen Löschmittelbehälter (10', 10") derart angeschlossen, daß sie mit dem Druck im Löschmittelbehälter (10', 10") beaufschlagt ist. Die unter Druck stehende thermoplastische Löschmittelleitung (12') platzt im Brandfall auf, und die Platzstelle (17') bildet eine Auslaßdüse für das Feuerlöschmittel aus. Um zu gewährleisten, daß die durch das Aufplatzen des Schlauches im Brandfall ausgebildete "Auslaßdüse" das Feuerlöschmittel möglichst genau in Richtung Brandherd sprüht, ist die schmelzbare Löschmittelleitung (12') derart an den mindestens einen Löschmittelbehälter (10', 10") angeschlossen, daß das Löschmittel im Brandfall in der Löschmittelleitung (12') von zwei Seiten auf die Platzstelle (17') zuströmt. <IMAGE>
