Abstract (en)
Multicylinder metal rod press comprises a fixed cylinder string piece (1) formed as support of the pressing tool (11). The pressing pistons (31) arranged in the pressing cylinders (32) of the string piece (1) on the side opposite the acting surface are connected to filling bodies (40) spanning the free cylinder space (32R, 62R) up to one of the acting surfaces of the pressing pistons and the cylinder ends (36). The filling bodies (40) are bound between the pressing pistons and the cylinder ends.
