Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Einrichtung zur Gewährleistung der Arbeitssicherheit an Druckmaschinen beim Prozeßablauf des automatischen oder halbautomatischen Wechsels von Druckplatten (5). Ausgehend von der Aufgabe der Erfindung - Schaffung eines Verfahrens und einer Einrichtung zum Schutz des Bedieners beim Prozeßablauf Plattenwechsel ohne großen Aufwand - wird bei dem Verfahren zur Gewährleistung der Arbeitssicherheit an Druckmaschinen beim Prozeßablauf des automatischen bzw. halbautomatischen Wechsels der auf einem mit einem Farbwerk (9) in Wirkverbindung stehenden Formzylinder (4) angeordneten Druckplatte (5), wobei die zu- und abzuführenden Druckplatten in einer im Nichtbetriebszustand als Farbwerkschutz und im Betriebszustand als Zuführeinrichtung fungierenden Kassette (6) angeordnet sind, bei dem Prozeßablauf Wechsel der Druckplatte das Farbwerk stillgesetzt. <IMAGE>
