Abstract (en)

A whip 10, for instance for use by an equestrian rider, has a handle 12, at one end of a shaft 14. A cap 20 houses a permanent magnet 28 by means of which the whip will be magnetically attracted to a support (such as a steel support 30). Thus, the whip can be hung, when not in use, by means of this magnetic attraction. <IMAGE>
