Abstract (en)
The mattress making device puts the mattress core (2) in the cover (3) and from a resting table (5) for closing it. To close the open end (3a) of the cover, there is a sewing machine (8) arranged so that a feed device (12, 14, 15) takes it along the sewing edge and then to a region outside the intermediate cavity. The resting table is in this cavity during the sewing process.

Bekannte Vorrichtungen, mit denen Matratzen mit einem textilen Überzug versehen werden, sehen eine Verklebung des zunächst noch offenen Endes eines sackartigen Überzugs von Hand vor. Es wird vorgeschlagen, einem Auflagetisch (5) zur Übernahme des mit mit dem Überzug (3) versehenen Kernes (2) eine Nähmaschine (8) so zuzuordnen, daß sie nur während des Nähvorganges in einen Zwischenraum zwischen der Füllmaschine und dem Auflagetisch gelangt, im übrigen aber außerhalb dieses Zwischenraumes untergebracht ist. Verwendung für Maschinen zur Herstellung vor überzogenen Matratzen. <IMAGE>
