Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0978594A2] The cover (10), to shroud an opening (4) in a wall (6) for a sanitary fitting such as a lavatory, has a rosette carrier (11) bolted to the fitting body or installation box (1). A seal (17) secures the rosette carrier (11) tightly at the wall surface (6). The rosette (12) is fitted to its carrier (11) so that, visually, it is wholly shrouded from view. Sealing rings are mounted to the rosette to give a sealing action between the rosette (12) and the lavatory fittings passing through it.
