[origin: EP1318262A1] An insulating slat made of plastic, has frame structure (4,6) and connection profile (12) which allows it to be anchored in a metal profile. The frame structure has a longitudinal wall which is 0.3-1.2 (especially 0.5-1.0) mm thick. Heat insulating material is located on both sides of the wall.
