[origin: DE19758468A1] The guide rail piece consists of two part pieces (24,26) which can be moved relative to each other, with complementary segments able to form a closed. C-shaped guide piece (27) for a roller chain. When separated, the chain rollers run parallel to the axis of rotation. There are five segments (28-32), two of them (28,29) in the first part piece and the other three in the other. The two in the first part piece are above and below the roller, as are two of those of the second part piece, of which the third segment runs in the axial direction of the roller axis.
