[origin: WO9849385A1] The iron (101) with the tank (105) containing the water to be vaporized and with the soleplate (108) which is heated electrically in order to vaporize the water, can be connected to a spraying unit (102) of the cleaning device, comprising a mouth (152) through which the steam is dispensed in order to effect the cleaning action; said spraying unit (102) comprises a rigid structure (151) which is fitted around the soleplate (108) of the iron, and a tray-like steam conveyor (158) which is made from an elastically deformable material and presses against the soleplate (108) and receives the steam from the holes (113) in said soleplate.
