[origin: EP0979786A1] The refuse container has locking projection (3) in the form of an eccentric S-shaped chamfer (13') on the end of a turning shaft (12'), the other end of which has a turning lever (11') running transversely in the opposite direction to the chamfer. The main part of the shaft is fitted in the lid parallel to the lid turning axis and transverse to its direction of motion. A pressure sensor (14') projects from the lid, acting on the turning shaft to retract the locking projection.
