Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0979899A1] The member (1) is for a ground or rock anchor, driven pile or similar, having a supporting component (3) in one or more sections providing the rust-proofing and extending for the full length inside a tubular plastics casing (6). The space (14) formed between component and casing contains distance-pieces extending around the component, and is filled with hardening material. The member is inserted in a borehole (2), and the component can be secured to the ground for part at least of its length by filling the hole with hardening grout. For part at least of the member length the distance-pieces are formed by a profiled and perforated pipe (15). This can be ribbed and contain numerous lengthwise slots, whose depth is less than the distance between the rib crests and bases. The slots can pass right through the pipe wall, successive ones being offset from each other for a predetermined angle when seen in the axial direction of the pipe.
