Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9851634A1] The invention relates to a method and device for producing storage mineral constituents to immobilize harmful substances and to produce building components, specially building slabs and mixtures. The storage minerals are obtained by mixing combustion residues with substances containing water and CaO and by heating them in a reactor until the water thus released reacts with the free CaO and the aluminates and silicates to form hydraulically active phases which store harmful substances. An inventive device is used to implement the above production method. The use of said minerals for the production of building components, specially building slabs and mixtures is also described.
