Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9849424A1] A method and well system are disclosed which allow drilling, service, maintenance and/or monitoring equipment to be used downhole and to be moved into, through and/or from the well system whilst production of oil and/or gas can continue during at least part of the period during which the equipment is moved or used in the well system. The well system thereto comprises a plurality of entrance points at the earth surface and a system of underground wellbores which provide a subsurface connection between said entrance points so that production of oil and/or gas can continue via at least one of said entrance points whilst equipment is moved and/or operated via another entrance point.
