[origin: EP0980914A2] Production of high performance tough steel profile pipes comprises: hardening hot-rolled steel pipes after reaching their final measurement as circular pipe in the known way and annealing; and inserting the steel pipes into a profile rolling mill at an annealing temperature of 500o C up to less than Ac1 and then cooling in air.
