[origin: EP0980942A2] The channel (10) is made of plate metal and has a U-shaped cross section, whereby drainage openings (12) are formed at the base. The two legs (14) act as supports for a grating (20), and height adjustment units (22) can be connected to both of the legs. The height adjustment units are releasably attached to the drain by means of plug connections.
