An electronic power switch (7) is arranged between the battery (2) and the contact bridge, which is connected with the electronic control unit (4), across a control lead (9) and at least one measurement line (10-12). The positive pole of the battery is connected with the electronic control unit across the ignition starter lock (3). Which controls the auxiliary engagement unit, and the positive pole of the battery is connected with the starter motor (6), across an electronic power switch.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung (1) zum Anlassen einer Brennkraftmaschine, umfassend eine Batterie (2), ein Zündanlaßschloß (3), eine elektrische Steuereinheit (4), einen Magnetschalter (5) und einen Startermotor (6), wobei der Pluspol der Batterie (2) über das Zündanlaßschloß (3) mit der elektronischen Steuereinheit (4) und über eine von dem Magnetschalter (5) schaltbare Kontaktbrücke (8) mit dem Startermotor (6) verbunden ist, wobei zwischen der Batterie (2) und der Kontaktbrücke (8) ein elektronischer Leistungsschalter (7) angeordnet ist, der über eine Steuerleitung (9) und mindestens eine Meßleitung (10-12) mit der elektronischen Steuereinheit (4) verbunden ist. <IMAGE>
