[origin: EP0981014A1] The separating flask (13) which is connected through a supply pipe to the vaporizer (8) is connected to a first water container (10) thorugh a recirculation pipeline section (16) equipped with a first control valve (17) and to a second water container (6) by a further pipeline section (25) fitted with second control valve (23) and to the relaxation tank (22) through a third pipeline section (18) fitted with third control valve (19) and through a fourth pipeline section (20) fitted with fourth control valve (21). During operation of the steam generating system the pressure in the first water container is higher than in the second water container. Independent claims describe method for operating system during cold start where second control valve is is opened and first, third and fourth valves are closed so that the water in the separating flask is diverted to the second water container, and for warm start for cleaning steam pipes.
