Abstract (en)
At least two tangential air entry slots (3) are provided for a combustion input air current. In front of the air entry slots is a nozzle arrangement (4) for liquid fuel which atomizes the fuel in a surface-type fuel/air mixture (10), so that the fuel with the combustion air issues centrally in the air entry slots. The nozzle arrangement comprises preferably two or three Taylor injectors (9).

Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren sowie ein Brenner zur Verbrennung von flüssigen Brennstoffen in einem Brenner mit wenigstens zwei halben, hohlen Teilkegelkörpern (1,2), die einen kegelförmigen Hohlraum einschließen und deren Längssymmetrieachsen zueinander versetzt verlaufen, wodurch mindestens zwei tangentiale Lufteintrittsschlitze (3) für einen Verbrennungszuluftstrom entstehen. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, daß der flüssige Brennstoff (10) in Form eines flächenartiges Brennstoff-/Luft-Gemisches zerstäubt wird und mittig zusammen mit dem Verbrennungsluftstrom in die Lufteintrittsschlitze eingebracht wird. <IMAGE>
