Abstract (en)
The height of the bath mirror (8) is determined using calculated connection of the linear dimensions. The liner dimensions are measured in part directly, indirectly and preferably outside of the high temperature range of the electric arc oven (1). In the process of determining the height of the bath mirror of an electric arc oven (1), the electric arc oven (1) has an oven tank (2) with a slag door (13) and a height adjustable electrode support are (5) for at least a graphite electrode (4).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Bestimmen der Höhe des Badspiegels eines Elektrolichtbogenofens (1), der ein Ofengefäß (2) mit einer Schlackentür (12) und einen höhenverstellbaren Elektrodentragarm (5) für mindestens eine Graphitelektrode (4) aufweist. Der Nachteil der kostenaufwendigen und ungenauen Messmethode mit Sauerstofflanze und Ofengewichtmessung wird dadurch vermieden, dass die Höhe des Badspiegels (8) durch rechnerische Verknüpfung von Längenabmessungen bestimmt wird, die zum Teil direkt und zum Teil indirekt sowie vorzugsweise außerhalb des Hochtemperaturbereiches des Elektrolichtbogenofens (1) gemessen werden. <IMAGE>
