The control element (10) or lever has at least one electrical actuation transducer for outputting control signals to at least one working function, depending on pivoting of the control lever and/or on the actuation of at least one actuating element (20,22) mounted on the lever. A manually operated activation element (34) mounted close to the actuation handle (14) of the lever is connected to at least one switching element (44), and interacts with an electric lock to activate the actuation transducer to output the control signals, depending on operation of the activation element.

Es wird ein Handbedienungshebel, insbesondere ein Handbedienungshebel (10) für die Bedienungsplattform eines Fahrzeugs beschrieben, der wenigstens einen elektrischen Betätigungswandler zur Abgabe von Steuersignalen an wenigstens eine Arbeitsfunktion (54, 56, 58) in Abhängigkeit eines Verschwenkens des Handbedienungshebels (10) und/oder in Abhängigkeit der Betätigung wenigstens eines auf dem Handbedienungshebels (10) angeordneten Betätigungselements (20, 22, 24) aufweist. Um die Gefahr eines ungewollten Auslösens von Arbeitsfunktionen auf einfache Weise zu vermeiden wird vorgeschlagen, daß im Bereich des Betätigungsgriffs (14) des Handbedienungshebels (10) wenigstens ein von Hand betätigbares mit wenigstens einem Schaltelement (44) in Verbindung stehendes Aktivierungselement (34) vorgesehen ist, welches mit einer Verriegelung zusammenwirkt, um in Abhängigkeit von Betätigungen des Aktivierungselements (34) den wenigstens einen Betätigungswandler zur Abgabe von Steuersignalen zu aktivieren. <IMAGE>
