Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2769835A1] Compositions for oxidation dyeing of keratinic fibers, especially human hair containing an auto-oxidizable dye a 2 electron oxido-reductase enzyme a substrate for the above enzyme the composition being free from oxidation base. The enzyme is preferably one of the llowing: pyranose oxidases, glucose oxidases, glycerol oxidases, lactate oxidases, pyruvate oxidases, and uricases. The substrate for the enzyme is preferably uric acid or its salts. The dye may be benzenic, indolic or indolinic and is preferably of formula (I), (II), or (III); R1 = H, 1-4C alkyl, or amino; R2 = 1-4C alkyl, amino, or mono or di- 1-4C alkyl; R3 = H, OH, or amino; R4 = H or amino; R5, R7, R8, and R9 = H or 1-4C alkyl or acyl; R6 = H, 1-4C alkyl, or carboxyl. The preferred compositions contain 0.01 - 20%, especially 0.1 - 5% enzyme, 0.01 - 20%, especially 0.1 - 5% substrate, and 0.0005 - 12%, especially 0.005 - 8% dye.
