[origin: WO9852859A1] The invention relates to an elevator which is particularly suitable for connecting two floors inside a home and able to carry additional devices such as a wheelchair or the same without posing any problems. According to the invention, sensor monitoring means (6, 7, 8, 9) are provided for said elevator (1) which does not comprise a continuously closed elevator shaft.
