[origin: WO9851608A1] The invention concerns a method for disinfecting and deodorising the internal volume and/or the internal surface of containers in a container treatment line (filling, closing and/or odour control) whereby a plasma flash is carried out in a medium open to atmospheric pressure inside the container in synchronisation with the filling process. The invention also concerns a disinfecting device comprising at least a disinfecting station, wherein the objects, i.e. the containers (1, 41, 61) or their closure elements (21), are arranged and treated, between electrodes (3, 6) by a high frequency plasma flash inside the container or in the internal part of the closure element. Said disinfecting device is arranged so as to synchronise the treatment operations with the continuous flow of objects to be treated.
