[origin: WO9853275A1] The invention concerns a capacitive angle sensor, in particular for motor vehicle steering column, comprising a rotor element (300), at least a sensitive stator element (200), means adapted to apply electric signals to one of these elements, the transmitter, and means adapted to detect the signals received on the other element, the receiver; said signals depend on the rotor element (300) angular position relative to the sensitive stator element (200). The invention is characterised in that the sensitive stator element (200) is placed in a box (100) adapted to be laterally engaged on the whole assembly (10, 50) housing the rotor element (300).
