[origin: DE19720319A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for producing security elements consisting of at least two layers for electronically securing goods and to a tape material produced according to said method. The invention aims to provide a simple, cost-efficient method for producing a tape material, a corresponding device and a tape material produced according to said method for electronically securing goods. To this end the invention provides for a method by which sections (6) of a second length of material (2), which sections are of a predetermined length, are supplied to and placed on top of a first continuous length of material (1) at 90 degrees to the direction of feed (x) of the first length of material (1).
