Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0982126A1] The current supply uses a current souce (3), e.g. a battery, contained within the printing machine cylinder (1) and a switch (2) for coupling the current source to an electrical load (4), which is released automatically when the printing cylinder is stationary in dependence on its position. The switch may use an electrically conductive fluid (8) contained within a tube (7), for providing an electrical contact path between a pair of switch contacts (5,6) in a given position of the printing cylinder.
