Abstract (en)
The washing or fulling roller, with a wooden mantle, has a hollow interior (11), in contact with the wooden mantle cladding (8). The interior (11) of the roller is closed (10). A fluid feed line (12) is in the roller shaft (2), with an opening (15) coaxial to the shaft axis. The feed line (12) has an opening (17) at a radial gap from the shaft axis, opening into a feed zone (18) which is open along a movement path of the opening (17). The hollow zone contains a fluid. An independent claim is included for working the washing or fulling roller, where the roller is wetted from within. Preferred Features: The wetting action is durable, using sufficient fluid to wet the roller for the washing/fulling operation. The roller is filled before it is assembled or it is filled before or after a washing/fulling working. The roller is constantly filled, as required.

Um bei einer holzbelegten Wasch- bzw. Walkwalze den Holzmantelbelag (8) gegen Austrocknung bzw. Rissbildung zu schützen, soll diese einen inneren Hohlraum (11) aufweisen, der mit dem Holzbelag (8) in Kontakt steht. Desweiteren soll die Walze von innen befeuchtet werden. <IMAGE>
