Abstract (en)

[origin: JP2000064705A] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure in which a traveling mechanism can be easily mounted to a frame shaped member or demounted therefrom, by providing a guide groove and a notch in the shaped member of the upper end of a sliding door and incorporating the traveling mechanism provided with traveling rollers which travel on a guide rail formed in a ceiling or the like. SOLUTION: The edge of a sliding door 1 is surrounded by shaped members 5 or the like, and a guide groove 9 is formed in the shaped member 5. A notch 15 is made as long as the guide part 21 of a traveling mechanism 19 or a little longer. The traveling mechanism 19 is provided with a pair of rollers held by shafts and a lock member extended at right angles against the shafts. The guide rail is formed within the cover of storage furniture or the like and the rollers of the traveling mechanism 19 roll on a guide passage. The traveling mechanism 19 is inserted in the guide rail and fitted therein when the storage furniture is manufactured. When the sliding door 1 is connected to the traveling mechanism 19, the guide part 21 is slid into the shaped member 5 through the notch 15 and then, slid to the right side until the end 29 of the lock member is engaged with the inside of notch 15. In this way, the traveling mechanism can be easily removed.
