Abstract (en)
The fuel injection device has a dosing piston (1), an associated control device (2) and a control valve (3) for feeding the fuel to at least one fuel injection jet (5). The dosing piston is provided as a pressure amplifier with a stepped piston, with an electrically regulated hydraulic system controlling the pressure amplifier and the control valve. An independent claim for a reciprocating piston engine with a fuel injection device is also included.

Die Vorrichtung enthält einen Dosierkolben, der als Druckverstärker (1) mit einem Stufenkolben ausgebildet ist, um eine Brennstoffmenge festzulegen und auf Einspritzdruck zu bringen und mindestens ein Steuerventil (3), um eine oder mehrere Einspritzdüsen (5) mit Brennstoff zu versorgen.
