Abstract (en)
A connecting system (1) for low-voltage lighting comprises at least two connecting means which are used for providing the mechanical and electrical connection of a light source (4) to an electrical conductor (3). The connecting means preferably comprise a helically wound, electrically conductive element. The windings (2) of said element are so arranged that the conductor can be clamped therebetween. An embodiment wherein the windings (2) are furthermore so arranged that also the light source (4) can be clamped therebetween constitutes another preferred embodiment. <IMAGE>
