Abstract (en)
The electrical installation (2) has cable connections (3). The temperature is detected by a temperature monitoring device (15) which cuts off the circuit when the temperature exceeds a predetermined threshold. The temperature monitoring circuit is connected to a bus coupler (7) which is also connected to a cut-off device (5). The installation is formed with a module (12) which performs the functions of temperature monitoring, cut-off and bus connection, and is connected to existing current carrying parts via sprung contacts (4). The temperature monitoring device may indicate the temperature. The cut-off device may be remotely controllable via the bus coupler. The cut-off device may be a SiC semiconductor switch.

Elektrisches Installationsgerät (2) mit Leiteranschlüssen (3); (11), beispielsweise Steckdose, Stecker oder Schalter, wobei die Temperatur durch eine Temperaturüberwachungseinrichtung (15) erfaßt wird, die eine Abschaltung bewirkt, wenn die Temperatur einen vorgegebenen Grenzwert übersteigt. Die Temperaturüberwachungseinrichtung (15) steht mit einem Busankoppler (7) in Wirkverbindung, wobei mit dem Busankoppler (7) die Temperaturüberwachungseinrichtung (15) und eine Abschalteinrichtung (5) verbunden sind. <IMAGE>
