[origin: DE19747901A1] The invention relates to a supporting part (30) for coupling a wiper blade (10) to a hook-shaped end (20) of a wiper bar (18) of a windshield wiper. The storage part can be mounted on a supporting pin (28) of the wiper blade (10) by means of a hub (36) which is open in one part of the periphery thereof, and one end of the storage part is inserted into the hook-shaped end (20). In an installed state, the storage part is held between a long and short leg (64, 66) of the hook-shaped end (20) by said hook-shaped end via locating faces (54, 56) and locking means (60, 68). According to the invention, the opening (42) of the hub (36) points toward the short leg (66) and is not overlapped by said short leg.
