Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19722810A1] The invention relates to a device for fixing a cable duct to crossbars serving as support elements which are arranged at differing intervals, wherein the cable duct and the crossbars consist of metal walls of a varying thickness. The cable duct has a base plate. The base plate of the metal cable duct and the crossbars have openings which are configured as longitudinal holes which are perpendicular to each other and whose width-length ratio is more than 1:2. When the longitudinal holes are aligned with each other, they overlap in such a way that a rectangular through-hole is provided to accommodate an expandable clamping element. The clamping element has at least one locking lug in the direction in which said element is accommodated on two opposite-lying spring-elastic clamping strips. The locking lug can be pre-stressed in the opposite direction in which the clamping element is accommodated, opposite to the head plate of the clamping element, which is domed and which overlaps the opening of the base plate of the cable duct.
